We’ve already felt how hot this summer is going to be, here’s a few ways you can cool off. The City of Boise will have 4 pools r, opening on June 11th, they are Borah, Fairmont, Ivywild pools and the Natatorium. Like so many other things there are changes thanks to Covid-19 to use the pools.

You need to purchase a pool season pass. Pool season passes cost $15 per person, regardless of age. Adults age 65 and over can sign up for a pass free of charge. Scholarships are also available for pool season passes. Please remember, anyone planning to visit a City of Boise outdoor pool this summer will need a season pass to make advanced reservations and enter a pool facility. Infants under the age of six months can visit the city’s four outdoor pools this summer with a parent or guardian who is a pass holder free of charge.

Pool season passes will be available for purchase by pool location (Example: Borah Pool Season Pass, Fairmont Pool Season Pass etc.) and will be listed as such in the city’s registration system. Customers should purchase a pass for the pool location they plan to visit most frequently throughout the season, keeping in mind that no matter which pool you purchase a pass for, you will be able to book swimming sessions at all four municipal pools.

Anyone who plans to use the Hydrotube slide at the Natatorium Pool this summer will need to purchase a separate Hydrotube pass for an additional $5. This one-time purchase can be completed at the same time a pool season pass is purchased.

What about the Meridian Pool? Here’s what we know. Open swimming will hopefully start on June 26th Hours will be M-F 1:30pm-4:30pm, 7pm-9pmSaturdays and Sundays 12pm-8pm. Pool capacity will be set at the first 150 people in the door for the duration of all open swim hours all season. Chairs will not be provided, Masks are mandatory and locker room space is limited, so please plan accordingly.

And if all else fails to cool you off you can always run through your sprinkler at home!
